This CD was developed over a twenty year period by a psychiatric clinician who was formerly assistant professor in the department of psychiatry at a major medical center. It has been used with great success in clinical practice to reduce anxiety, stress, distress and accompanying physical problems. It is not a medical treatment but rather a self care skill that is easily learned. Its major focus is on slow, deep breathing and on interrupting the internal monologue. In order to relax deeply we must develop the ability to interrupt the internal monologue. This CD is presently being installed on the in-house telecommunications network of a large hospital system.
